This potion of fragrance holds intentions of blending ones sweetness (light ☀️) with their shadow (dark 🌘)... not by blindly accepting the shadow parts of us but by bringing light (consciousness) to the dark (subconscious) so we can better understand the shadow parts and integrate them into the very thread of our true essence (our wairua) with love, compassion & understanding. 

I personally enjoy connecting with different tools to help alongside the inner work I do. I find it helps to tap into the wider world that is us. Energetically it can strengthen intentions and helps us to slow down so we don't rush through a process/opportunity of growth and healing and can provide resolution & closure in a beautiful way. The tools we use in rituals and ceremonies are nothing when we are not tuning in and connecting with them and nothing without the intentions we chose to place on them and the work we do with them.
